Father's Day 09

Yesterday we had a special program for Brazilian Father's Day at Victory Baptist. The teens and children participated in this program, honoring the father's present. We also had a good attendance for the Sunday morning "father's breakfast."

Progress at Esperanca

We made a brief visit to Sorocaba on our way to Curitiba. It was wonderful to see the people and the progress they have made on the building at Igreja Batista Esperanca, the last work with which we were involved in our ministry there.

David and Rai's baby

David and Rai's are friends from Bangledesh. They had a baby boy this week and Jan and Hanna enjoyed holding him.

Christmas Cantata- Veni, Veni Redemptor

Our church presented a beautiful Christmas cantata under the directorship of Tim Fisher, and Kristin had the opportunity to sing a solo in the song, Veni, Veni Redemptor. Its hard to hear above the orchestra, but David is playing his guitar in the background as she sings.

Chewy

This week we are at TriCity's Missions Conference. They had a young Mexican Missionary going to Ecuador, Jesu Alanis (nickname Chewy) to preach for the service. We were impressed with this young man and his burden for missions.

Eddy and Danielle's Wedding

Today God gave Eddy and Danielle a beautiful day for their wedding here in Michigan. It was very well attended and family came from literally all over the U.S. Here are a few video clips.
